Our Story
My name is Tingdong Tang. I am a biologist working on cancer diagnosis, especially colon cancer diagnosis, through next generation sequencing. Ironically, I was diagnosed with Stage IIIc colon cancer in Nov 2022. I had right hemicolectomy surgery in Dec 2022, started chemotherapy in Jan 2023 and finished chemotherapy in Aug 2023. Through God's grace, I have been living a cancer free life ever since.
During the process of my cancer diagnosis, treatment and recovery, I was never alone as He has been with me all along. He led me through the valley of shadow of death and I was never afraid. I gave a testimony about my cancer fighting in May 2023 at living water bible church, San Diego where I got baptized over 10 years ago.
